Ray Charles Portrait

Ray Charles, the wonderful who is wonderfully missed. My client was inspired by the images of Stevie Wonder I exhibited at Mojo Music in Oakville where I will exhibit portrait of Whitney Houston. Initially, I went with an older Ray.
Here's a younger version of Ray the client preferred and the final piece created for my client below.
This work of art was created in acrylic on canvas, 8"x 10", gallery depth. To order your image, contact simone4king@gmail.com

Self Defense??
Is currently on exhibit at BAND Gallery in Toronto. This body of work illustrates the evolution of thought around a violent incident at a Toronto bar. What does a woman do when she is verbally assaulted and her life is threatened by a man she rejects? He actually raised his hand to hit me. Walk with me through these images to discover the mind set of a person who expects to be treated well and who stands up for herself when things go awry.
